Devils’ Bridge is a village and community in north Ceredigion. It is best known for having 3 bridges with one built on top of the other spanning the Afon Mynach (Mynach River).
The Devil’s Bridge has been a tourist attraction for centuries and legend has it the waterfall beneath is where The Devil was outwitted by a local woman, Megan, which is possibly how the area got its name.
The setting of popular TV BBC One series Hinterland, the village attracts tourists for many reasons including tracing the steps of the crimes solved by Tom Mathias. Others reach the destination by historic steam train along the Rheidol valley with the Vale of Rheidol Railway service from Aberystwyth.
